They’ll be held on the first Sunday of the month beginning February 5, 2017 from 2pm-3:30pm.
Also: Mar. 5, April 2, May 7; June 3, 2017.
Drawing on the thoughtful salon-like environment I created in the Panoply Books Reading series, I will provide a supportive framework for writing or revising poems. Craving artistic camaraderie but still feeling reserved about your work? You can receive as much or as little personal attention as you like. All levels are welcome, ages 18+.
$10 donation per session. Space is limited so reserve your spot early if you can.
All day workshop–10:30am-4:30 pm. Gather your poems into a chapbook. Participants will learn how to collect their poems into well-crafted chapbook-length manuscripts. Participants will explore methods to order, group, and title their poetry collections, and be advised on what to consider including or excluding. There will be some discussion on how and where to submit chapbooks for publication. Vasiliki and Regan will describe how smaller literary presses solicit manuscripts, and how some work cooperatively with authors. Be ready to submit 14-24 pages of poetry by May 5, 2017. The workshop leaders read each manuscript before the Workshop.
Workshops for New Jersey teachers only, at the Printmaking Center in Branchburg, NJ.
From 12 noon -2pm on 3 successive Saturdays: April 9, April 16, and April 23. Future dates TBA.
Limited to 14 participants. Please contact email@example.com for more information.
